Do you live in Portland? Do you like ice cream? Do you like photo walks?

If your answers are yes, yes, and yes, mark your calendar for June 30 and join me.

Here are the details.

Wait. What is an ice cream photo walk?

We will eat ice cream.

Possibly we will take pictures of our ice cream.

And then we will wander around the neighborhood and take pictures with our cameras.

This is sort of like a photo club, only a very lighthearted & silly one.

Hence the photo club meets ice cream club.

It’s a way to play with our cameras, explore our own city, and possibly make some new friends and be inspired by each other in the process. All while enjoying delicious ice cream.

Do I need to be a photographer? Or have a specific type of camera?

No. And no.

You are welcome however you are – with whatever you have.

I’ve even gone on photo walks without a camera.

How much does it cost?

It doesn’t.

I like to eat ice cream and explore Portland and play with my camera. I thought I’d invite you to join me.

What if it’s raining? This is Portland.

I’ll be there anyway. I don’t mind the rain. Unless it’s a downpour.

But that’s the beauty of an ice cream photo walk. If it turns into a downpour, we can always eat our ice cream, chat for a while, and still call it a good day.

If this sounds great, I invite you to join me.

I look forward to meeting you.

If not this time, there will probably be another.
