today

November 27, 2013

here, it is the night before thanksgiving.

as i write this, there is a candy cane candle burning and a puppy sleeping.

the snow has been falling softly all day and the world is covered in a fluffy blanket of white.

today included a snowy walk with the pup and games with my family. tomorrow, there will be turkey, for me and for atlas.

this thanksgiving, i am feeling grateful to be here, now. this year has been hard for me. one of my hardest years ever. but it has taught me (is teaching me) so very much.

here, all is well.

this thanksgiving, i wish you warmth, wonder, and a soft place to land if/when you need one. also flying puppy ears, because they make everything better.

  3. Happy Thanksgiving, Elizabeth, to you, Atlas, and all your family.

  4. It’s Thanksgiving Day, and our family eats an early dinner instead of lunch. Just now there is a lull between the hectic preparations and all the guests arriving for the meal. I wanted to take some of that time to visit my blogging friends. I needed to say thank you. Thank you for the inspiration you provide here in your place and for the comments you leave behind when you visit mine. Happy Thanksgiving, friend.

I love this picture. Atlas looks like he loves the snow. I miss home and everyone. :) Hoping you’re having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

I think it’s less that he loves the snow, and more that he loves being outside, in almost all forms of weather. He is pretty cute. That being said, he is finding tracks in the snow (rabbit tracks in G&G’s yard yesterday) and he really really loves that.

It was lovely. AND I missed you.

p.s. If you want another game idea, here ’tis: Anomia. I think you would love it.

@Tammy: Oh my goodness. You’ve had quite the year too. I am wishing you so much Ease and Comfort in 2014. I wish I could send you softly falling snow, at least on Christmas Eve.

@Jerry: Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

@Relyn: I am receiving your appreciation and reflecting it back to you. I am thankful for your little corner of the world. You are filling the world with joy.
